Smoking Cessation

The focus of Screen for Life is to educate men, women and children about the importance of regular screenings to prevent disease and maintain healthy lifestyles. There is an overwhelming need for increased education across the broad racial, religious and socio-economic spectrum of the community about the importance of undergoing regular health screenings and leading a healthy lifestyle, including proper diet and exercise.

Screen for Life's latest project, Great Day, Great Life: Eating and Playing Your Way to a Long, Healthy Life, is a film that emphasizes the important role of the family in beginning a healthy lifestyle during childhood and how to continue this behavior into your senior years. The program features healthcare professionals, New Jersey families and NY Jet Safety Eric Smith, our program spokesperson, who addresses the dangers of smoking, drugs, improper diet and exercise.
